About us
Willow & Spruce was founded in 2021.
It all began when I was studying high school Chemistry. From reading about the process of soap-making, I wondered about processes involved in making other products. I had read the ingredients on my lip balm and I realized that I had been putting toxic ingredients on my lips and had not even been aware of it. I thought that there must be a better way to make lip balm, so I started researching recipes and techniques. After several attempts, I eventually made a lip balm that I was satisfied with and decided to share it with others. I wasn’t the only one searching for a natural solution for dry lips.
I eventually expanded my product line to include other natural products such as body butter, deodorant and shampoo.

Our process
All our products are handmade in small batches in our kitchen, using pure ingredients. The recipes were carefully tested and adjusted to make the products as useful as they can be. We don’t add artificial fragrances or colours. All our products are scented with pure essential oils.
